This year I cooked for 17 people. 30 pound Turkey Spiral Ham x2 Mashed Potatoes Potato Salad Deviled Eggs Southern Mac & Cheese {My husband made this} Real Cranberry Sauce Collard Greens with Ham-hock and Bacon Brioche Bacon Stuffing Corn on the Cob Green Bean Casserole Funeral Potatoes {special request for my cousin} Brussels sprouts with bacon and a sweet glaze. Cornbread Homemade Hawaiian Rolls {because I am not a super big fan of cornbread} Biscuits (requested by my father in law) with Sausage Gravy Fried Green Tomatoes Jambalaya {the only thing I realllllllly wanted} Maque Choux ****************** Today I have to prep for tomorrow's "Christmas Dinner" for my husband as he leaves on Monday Rack of Lamb Roasted Vegetables with a honey glaze Roasted Potatoes Mushroom Risotto And for me and a few other friends and family who really don't like Lamb Clam Chowder Crab Cakes Lobster and Dungeness Crab {a little taste of home} Coleslaw The reason I don't let others help me cook.... I'm super picky about food, and I don't like cooking around other people. Get out of my kitchen and let me be. Next year... Taste of Japan and South Korea. I've already told my family I'm not doing traditional Thanksgiving. I want Karaage, Sushi, Ramen and Curry.
