Models and celebs alike all descended upon the Met Gala in New York on Monday, May 1st. The theme this year was in honor of designer Rei Kawakubo and her bold colorful designs. But, like years past, many of the attendees came following their own theme, and still looked amazing! Here are just some of our favorites from this year\u2019s event:<\/p>\n

Rihanna<\/h3>\n

\"\"<\/span>Rihanna always hits the nail on the head when it comes to following the MET Gala theme, and this year was no exception. The singer wore an original comme des garcons design paired with lace up shoes and dramatic makeup. The look was among the most extreme of the night, but was true to Rei Kawakubo and Rihanna\u2019s bold style.<\/p>\n

Candice Swanepoel<\/h3>\n

\"\"<\/span>This look isn\u2019t so much haute couture, as it is evil Disney queen, and we are kind of living for it. The model, dressed in Topshop, rocked a super thick bold winged eyeliner and high pony, making for quite the post baby red carpet experience.<\/p>\n

Taylor Hill<\/h3>\n

\"\"<\/span>Taylor Hill rocked a stunning Carolina Herrera gown at the event, but we couldn\u2019t stop staring at her hair and makeup! Bold eye shadow color along with the sleeked back hair made for one of the most intriguing beauty moments of the night.<\/p>\n

Bella Hadid<\/h3>\n
