What is your favorite holiday movie?Everything from Disney! 2. What is your favorite holiday dish? I come from Sweden and a common dish on Christmas Eve is salmon. I especially love raw, spiced salmon with potatoes and dill, yumm.. 3. What is your favorite holiday sweet treat? I consume LOADS of cinnamon this time a year. Cinnamon chocolate, apple cake with cinnamon, cinnamon glazed almonds.. I just cannot get enough of that delicious stuff. 4. What is your all-time favorite holiday song? Some good ol' Elvis is never wrong.. and cheesy Swedish Christmas radio hits 5. What is your favorite tree ornament? We have this beautiful porcelain angel that we always put on top of the tree. It's really old, antique probably, and it has been my favorite since I was a little girl. 6. Describe your perfect holiday vacation. I have lived far away from my family and traveled a lot the past years, so I have to say peacefully spending time with them in Stockholm, where I was raised, or in Krakow, where my mom comes from - is for me the ultimate holiday vacation. 7. What is your favorite holiday tradition? Like I said, to just relax.. read, eat good food, take walks in the snow, hang out with loved ones, and not stress about anything. 8. What is on your wish list this year? Love and good books! And ok.. maybe a pair of nice shoes. 9. What is the best present you have ever received? Last year I got an ice cream machine from my parents - BEST PRESENT EVER! 10. What drink are you hot chocolate, egg nog or hot apple cider? Hot chocolate for sure! Actually, I just had egg nog for the first time the other day. I have to say that to me, as an European, it is a very, very strange invention. Is it sweet? Or spicy? Is it a cream, a beverage, some sort of weird, cold soup? WHAT IS THAT? I don't get it. 11. Who is your New Years kiss? My best friend who is finally visiting me in Berlin (where I live at the moment) I have not seen her for almost half a year! It is going to be the. Best. New Years. Ever. 12. What is your favorite snow sport? I like all of them, but not for too long - I hate being cold. I actually think that the best part is when you come back home and get to warm yourself up with a nice, long bath. 13. What is your favorite holiday decoration? Christmas lights, my roommate and I are covering the whole apartment in them - even the kitchen! We don't have a garden so we're just stuffing it all indoors instead. It is so pretty and cozy. 14. Do you prefer buying presents or creating them yourself to give to others? I prefer creating them, but I am usually too shy to go with something only home made. The ideal gift is a personal gift from a nice shop or market paired with something I made myself, a piece of jewelry for example. 15. What, who and where are you spending the holidays this year? Not sure yet, but at the moment it seems like I am staying in LA until a few days before Christmas. Then I will be taking a plane to Krakow, and then I will be back in Berlin for New Years!
