Really liking the Summer Camp and Area 51 ideas. Hospital could be fun too

Also GAGA won the Golden Globe for hotel. Really wishing Evan Peters would get some recognition every season 'he's fantastic.

I'm glad Gaga won too but I can't understand how Evan keeps getting overlooked by critics every single year, it's ridiculous. I hope the Emmys show him some love.

As far as Season 6 goes, I wouldn't like Hospital because I think it would be too much like Asylum, Area 51 sounds great tho. And there are rumors about Jessica Lange being back, I hope this doesn't mean Gaga is gone, I think she was brilliant this season.

I adored Gaga, she was awesome for a first timer! Happy that she won her first acting award.  I agree about Evan too.

I've also really enjoyed Angela's, Kathy's, Denis's and Sarah's scenery chewing this season.  I didn't want this season to end.

I thought Gaga was fantastic but if she's back I hope they write a character for her that's less like Gaga. She can act and she can do characters so show us more. I loved when she was that young dancer coming to Hollywood in that episode. Because it didn't feel like she was just being Gaga. I'm pretty sure Ryan Murphy already asked her back for season 6 and she said yes. So I can't wait. I do hope Lange also comes back. I would love to see them share screen time.

I'm hoping we see more of Gaga, Angela, Matt, Evan, Jessica, Sarah. But i'd also love some new actors in the fold. As a huge Glee fan I loved seeing Darren in a few eps of AHS so I would love to see Ryan bring in some other actors from shows. Like someone from Nip/Tuck. Anyone have any actors they'd love to see in AHS?

I think the Scream Queens cast can't be in AHS because they film at the same time, which makes me happy because I cannot stand Emma Roberts so I'm thrilled I don't have to see her in AHS

I hope Gaga, Evan, Matt, Kathy, Angela, Wes, Cheyenne, Sarah, Denis (with a big role that allows him to shine like he did with Hotel) and Finn are all back. I'd also love to have Taissa back for another season, she was so good in Murder House and Coven, and also Lilly getting a bigger role again, she was good this season even if she had just a small part in two episodes. I'd also love for Alexandra Daddario to get a bigger part to and Alexandra Breckenridge to be back as well as Frances who is always one of my favorites.

Alexandra Daddario YES YES YES!!! Love everything about that girl but especially beeeewbs lol. Was great seeing her and Matt on screen again. I miss White Collar. I'm happy with them keeping Scream Queens and AHS away from each other. Actors wise.

What the American Horror Story Cast Has Said About Season 6 Will Make You Thirsty For More Details

If you're an American Horror Story fan, you know the struggle. Each season wraps up and the hunt for hints about the next season begins. It's a largely fruitless affair, until Ryan Murphy finally decides to throw us a bone about which we can endlessly speculate. At this point, we theorize about small details and quiz the cast about Slenderman. (Will he or won't he be the subject of season six?!) Right now we're in the torturous waiting phase. We know who is returning from the cast, but can only guess what the theme will be. For your sanity's sake, we'll be rounding up the hints that each cast member has given us about the upcoming season — big and small, as long as they're concrete. So far, there are very few. Check back for more quotes soon (we hope)!

Ryan Murphy

During the show's PaleyFest panel in March, Murphy hinted that he's been working on two ideas for the next season, but he thinks he knows which is the winner. "Both things that we're writing right now — we haven't yet declared the winner — will have a different form than we've ever done, so we're excited about that," he said. "We'll talk about it soon, but we haven't landed on it."
Whichever one Murphy goes with, he knows it will involve "elements of children," as he said at PaleyFest.
He also teased more possible crossovers between seasons: "The deeper that we go into the series — hopefully we'll last decades and decades — you will see that there's a definite universe and all the worlds are collided, sometimes in a very bizarre, interesting way. You will be seeing more and more of that as we go along."

Angela Bassett

Bassett was the first cast member confirmed for the upcoming season. She spilled to Entertainment Weekly about what she's learned from creator Ryan Murphy: "He did tell me at the Golden Globes that I would imbibe a little bit too much and yet I was very inuitive also and maybe Sarah [Paulson] was somehow the boss of me."

Is season 5 worth watching? I've watched all 4 seasons and everyone that I've talked to said that this season was the worst?

Everyone you've talked is wrong lol, season 5 was 100% amazing. Most of people who disliked it just gave it shit because of Gaga but I think she was amazing. Personally for me Hotel is my #2 favorite season, so I say you should watch it :)

Season 4 was legit the worst, I'd like to pretend it never happened lol

Thanks. I really hated S4 tho. My favorite is Asylum, and Coven is a pretty solid #2 too.

Will Jessica Lange Return For American Horror Story Season 6? Here's What She Says

Just as it has happened for many years, 2016 will feature the month of October, which means American Horror Story will be supergluing your eyeballs open to take in its shock-tastic next season in full. Something fans have been wondering about is whether or not actress Jessica Lange might choose Season 6 to be the time she returns to the ensemble genre-bender. And while we’re used to getting the hemming and hawing from Hollywood’s elite, the actress had a pretty blunt answer when asked recently by Charlie Rose.

No. I think, you know, I had four years with that, four seasons, and each year was a marvelous character. Everything changed from one year to another which made it very interesting for me. But no. I think sometimes you come to the end of something and it has had its natural…

Well damn. She didn’t even finish her sentence before trailing off all smoothly like that. This is just the kind of behavior we’d expect from a former witch, mother of a mass murderer, freak show-operating amputee and vindictive nun. She’s just breaking hearts left and right, and she doesn’t even have the couth to look us in the eye and apologize. Admittedly, that occurrence would be more frightening than anything on American Horror Story last year.

As one of the core characters in Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk’s anthology series for its first four seasons, Jessica Lange asserted herself as the crass and chain-smoking foundation upon which these torrid stories were built, but then she opted out of returning for Hotel last year. Things looked a little brighter some time later, when Lange wasn’t quite as determined not to make an appearance, but apparently nothing too amazing happened in the interim for her, as she makes it sound like returning to American Horror Story again would just be ludicrous.

Lange’s exit from the hit FX horror allowed Lady Gaga to step in and try her hand at being a leading lady in primetime, winning a Golden Globe for her blood-soaked efforts. Gaga has confirmed she will return for the as-yet-unthemed Season 6, though probably not in a starring role, since the next year will be a big one for her music career. Lange can make these declarations now, but I truly hope it can be worked out so that one season will feature Lady Gaga and Jessica Lange starring opposite one another. Even my goosebumps have goosebumps for that prospect. Or it might just be a rash I got from using Fiona Goode’s Supreme Body Wash.

Lange actually does have another huge TV role coming up, and it’s one that will reconnect her with Ryan Murphy. She’ll star as Joan Crawford alongside Susan Sarandon’s Better Davis in the Hollywood-themed anthology Feud, which will focus on the hectic production of Whatever Happened to Baby Jane? That situation might not have had killer clowns or voodoo demons, but it was no less  a horror than American Horror Story’s past efforts.

What We Know About The Theme For 'American Horror Story' Season 6

What do we know about American Horror Story Season 6? The answer has been elusive, with only a number of enticing tidbits dropped like breadcrumbs for us to follow. Still, if there's one thing a fandom loves, it's a mystery to speculate over. Although there are many rumored cast members returning, Angela Bassett is the only confirmed crew member returning. It's more fun - and practical, at this point - to imagine what the theme for the new season might be.

Check out a round-up of the hints and clues Ryan Murphy and the AHS crew have leaked so far, along with some ideas about what they could mean.

Claustrophobia

Our most recent hint comes from Freak Show's Dandy Mott, Finn Wittrock, who told The Wrap:

“I have heard [Season 6] is going to be a little tighter — there were so many story lines in the last one and it was so big and epic, I have a feeling it might be a little more claustrophobic. A smaller cast.”

For a literal translation of this 'claustrophobia', my mind went straight to the 'Coffin' promo for American Horror Story: Coven.

There was certainly a whole lot going on at the Hotel Cortez, so it'll be cool to see a change in strategy for Season 6. The upcoming season has been confirmed to involve two time periods, but this could be as involved as two entirely different settings linked by full-on time travel, or as minor as a few flashbacks.

It'd be exciting to have a truly taut, character-driven season of AHS after all of the flashy characters and gleefully over-the-top events of Freak Show and Hotel. If the cast was kept small and only a few locations locked down, the possibility for a crackling, claustrophobic vibe along the lines of Dogville or Tape is just too thrilling; imagine how intense that'd be.

Killer Kids at Boarding School?

American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy told EW that the new Season 6 may well have a definite theme of childhood, as horror:

“Often deals with the innocence of children, and their wide-eyed way into it. Both ideas we’re working with have elements of children.”

Although it fits with the childhood theme, we can currently discount the theory that Ryan Murphy wanted to include CreepyPasta icon Slender Man as a villain in Season 6. Personally, I'd love for American Horror Story to fulfill all of my fetishistic boarding school fantasies with the new Season... imagine Chloe Sevigny taking on a role akin to Eva Green's pervy schoolmarm in underrated chiller Cracks.

The Phantom of the Opera

Although I'm not sure how literally Ryan Murphy means the following comment, it's certainly food for thought:

“I think the show has always felt to me like an opera, so I think both of the things we’re writing right now will have a certain feel. But, I think I know what the winner is... We’re doing something that we’ve never done before on the show where we’re doing two different groups of writers rooms.''

Maybe the 'opera' feel indicates a musical or theatrical bent to Season 6, or Murphy may just be referencing the soap opera feeling that American Horror Story engenders in its well-loved characters. I doubt that it Season 6 will be set in an actual opera house, but I'd never say no to a bit of Dario Argento influence...

Tonal Shift

Ryan Murphy told EW that American Horror Story Season 6 will take a different tack from previous seasons, saying:

''The next thing we’re crafting up is very, very different than this. Not smaller. But just not opulent. More rogue and more dark.''

I'm not sure how much darker you can get from the most shocking scene in AHS history, but I'm excited to see how it's handled. If anyone can eclipse their past achievements through sheer ingenuity, it's Ryan Murphy.
