BARBARA PALVIN SPARKLES AT CHANEL DINNER IN CANNES DAY 9

by Bianca O'Neill - Friday May 22, 2015 - 16h51

The gorgeous Barbara Palvin joined L'Oreal ambassador Natasha Poly , Cara Delevigne and Mark Ronson to attend the exclusive Chanel dinner in Cannes this week, as part of the 68th Cannes Film Festival festivities.

While Natasha Poly was demure in a blue, A-line dress with ruffle detail, and Mark Ronson's wife Joséphine de La Baume joined Cara Delevigne in the white brigade, Barbara rocked a unique emellished mini-dress that really stood out on the red carpet.

THE OUTFIT

The Hungarian beauty chose this cute sheer mini-dress embellished in metallic gold and silver threading that caught the lights of the cameras perfectly - and showed off those stunning pins. With an on-trend mock turtleneck and a white strapless slip underneath, Barbara accessorized with a thin and elegant silver belt and matching black clutch and pointy-toe stilletto heels.

Metallic has been a huge trend at Cannes this year - but Barbara's look takes this shiny sheath to a brand new level.

THE MAKEUP

If there has been a makeup look that has become Barbara's signature look during the festival, it has to be the cat's eye. From her daring and creative cat's eye on Day 8, to this bold and strong eye overnight at Chanel, she's really been delivering in the beauty stakes.

We love that she accompanied it with a pretty pink lip and a subtle contoured base, allowing the eyes to really feature. It's a strong, sexy beauty look that lends this embellished mini-dress a cool edge.

THE HAIR

To allow this embellished high neck to feature, as well as her fine jawline, Barbara was spot on when she chose this sleek up-do. We've seen so many up-dos on the red carpet this week, but it was nice to see someone change it up and abandon the strong part in favour of a sleek, combed back choice. We love it!
