This is is a long award ceremony, it will probably be over an hour before best film director is announced. They have dinner and dessert breaks in between giving out awards. Praising Ridley Scott's directing of The Martian, but at the same time I guess in a way....a stab/joke at The Revenants long shoot and over budgeting.
