Wehbe grew up in Beirut, Lebanon, listening to jazz and R&B. She became a model at a very young age and won the title of "Miss South Lebanon" at age sixteen.

She released her first album, titled It is Time (Arabic: هو الزمن Howa el Zaman) which surprised many people given the low expectations. Although she is not widely regarded as a talented singer, she is famous for her performing abilities and seen by many to be one of the prettiest women in Lebanon.

Her second album I Want to Live (Arabic: بدي عيش Baddi 'Eish) was released in 2005 and is living up to expectations, and this is due to the success of its lead single Hayat Albi which came at major ranks in charts. She remains popular among Lebanon's youth and makes countless television appearances. She has certainly cemented herself in Lebanese popular culture as the ultimate sex symbol.

In July 2005, Wehbe, along with 14 other celebrities from the Arab world, began airing the live pan-Arab reality show series The Valley (Arabic: الوادي El Wadi), based on the French reality show La Ferme Célébrités. The show aired for three months, 24/7. It was critically acclaimed and won over many harsh critiques. The show featured weekly live performances in which Wehbe played a central role as well as singing songs from her new album.

Later on, Wehbe announced her engagement to a Saudi businessman, Tariq Al-Jaffali, surprising many people. Rumors about the gifts he offered her began to circulate immediately. However, after only a few weeks, her fiancée and her decided to split for personal and familial reasons. Wehbe was ranked forty-nine in the 2006 Edition of the Top 99 Most Desirable Women by the popular website AskMen.com. She was also included in People's 2006 100 Most Beautiful People list.


In late 2005, Pepsi announced that Wehbe would be the new face of the company.


Haifa Wehbe in her music video, WawaWehbe was chosen in 2006 as one of the most beautiful women in the world by People Magazine and askmen.com.

On June 10th, Haifa became one of the first arabic icons that introduced 50 Cent, where Haifa performed as an opening act for the 50 Cents concert in Biel, Beirut.

Are you guys kidding me this chick is almost 40 years old and abandoned her daughter. She has said that she had 7 noses jobs, 2 breast procedures, and those are fake eyes and fake lashes. And if you saw her without the 50 lb s of make up she looks like shit.

Actually, she's 32, born 10 March 1976. Her ex kicked her out of their daughter's life, she belongs to charity groups that encourage young women to not get plastic surgery, and works for Red Ribbon to promote safe sex practices and Aids treatments in the Middle East and Africa. And for your information the reason for kicking her out was because she wanted to bring her daughter up in the entertainment industry. And from what is just posted on this site you can see the kind of clothing she likes to wear, the little girl's father did not want to let his daughter be brought up that way. haife is muslim you know. She said she had to leave her daughter behind because she didn't want to miss out on an oppertunity. Yet chose to completely adandin her, CHOSING to let her live with out a mother. What people don't understand is that she has never seen her daughter at all. And her ex-husband gave her a chance to chose her family or her career. Haifa made this choice becuase her daughter was not planned, she had her when she was 16. And when she got the chance she left her with her father.
